Is it possible to get term life insurance if you had cancer 12 years ago?

Is it possible to get term life insurance if you had cancer 12 years ago? I had breast cancer 12 years ago, stage 1. I had a lumpectomy along with chemo and radiation. I have not had any reoccurences. I am 51 years old, no other medical problems. A little overweight, but no problems. Or once you had cancer the insurance companies don't even look at possible coverage?

Marie - Yes, it possible to get term life insurance. With no reoccurences, you can qualify for Standard Class coverage at a number of top carriers.
