Is there such thing as life insurance for smokers?

I'm a smoker with 2 children and I've never tried to get life insurance because I figured there was no point in trying but my brother in law just got some. I didn't want to be rude and ask him the price but I'd like to know how expensive it is. I'm just surprised you can even get it when you admit to smoking.

You can definitely get life insurance if you smoke. However, it is about 3xs more expensive then if you didn't smoke. It's hard to give you an exact cost because life insurance rates depend on a number of factors like age, weight, cholestoral and even driving record to name a few.
