I believe my father had life insurance intended for his funeral, he trusted one of his 5 daughters to be the beneficiary. He passed away, she pocketed the money and left the rest of us to pay for all expenses. How can i confirm that there was a policy paid out on his social security number?

Do you know what insurance company the policy was through?

If not, what insurance company did your father use for other things?

Regardless, if one of your siblings was made the beneficiary and pocketed the money, you have no legal recourse to recover the money.
