After we get married, Should we buy term policies or permanent policies?

Whether you need term or permanent insurance is entirely dependant on your financial situation. If you are young, have many financial obligations, kids’ college educations, etc. then you should consider term life insurance. If you have paid off most of your financial obligations, are looking at life insurance for the sake of tax-planning or estate planning benefits, then you need permanent life insurance. Some married couples can also look at the possibility of joint life policies, which you can get in both term life and permanent life policies
