what do i do next?

i have a receipt of payment along with a certificate for accident and death insurance that was found in my husbands paperwork that has been packed away since his death. what steps do i take now to claim anything if anything is claimable? the poliicy says it is "non-cancelable" by the company and does not expire till my 65th. birthday.
