can someone have an insurance policy on you without you knowing and how can you find out
submitted by brittant in dayton ohio
In Ohio only someone with "insurable interest" can take out a life insurance policy on you. This means a spouse, parent, or employer if you are a key employee could take out a life insurance policy on you. If you are over 15 years old you must sign the application to allow someone to take out a life insurance policy on you.
Random strangers or individuals who do not possess this "insurable interest" cannot take out a life insurance policy on you.
